Sunshine

Free (No ticket required - First come first served)
2:00PM (Doors open from 11am for Solar Observing and 1.30pm for the screening)
INDOOR: The Stables

A team of international astronauts are sent on a dangerous mission to reignite the dying Sun with a nuclear fission bomb in 2057.

We are very excited this year to be partnering with the Flamsteed Astronomy Society to bring you a very special Solar Observing Session.  Join us from 11am in the placid surroundings of The Stables for the opportunity to get up close and personal with our closest star, and have the experts answer your burning questions.

There will also be a display of astrophotography submitted by members of the Flamsteed Society to view at your leisure, as well as a pre-screening space talk.

More information about the Flamsteed Astronomy Society can be found at http://flamsteed.info

Please bear in mind that the solar observing is weather-permitting, so in the event of cloudy weather, the solar observing will be replaced by an indoor display.
