A Matter of Life and Death
Tooting’s Festival of the Dead and Friends of Streatham Cemetery are proud to present a FREE showing of Powell and Pressburger’s romantic Technicolour classic in Lambeth Cemetery Chapel.
Written and produced by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressberger. This is the story of two worlds, the one we know and another which exists only in the mind of a young airman whose life and imagination have been violently shaped by war. An all-time great film.
The film screening will be in Lambeth Cemetery Chapel (Streatham Cemetery Chapel is undergoing repair).
The Entrance is on Blackshaw Road between Fountain Road and Smallwood Road junctions. Once through the gates bear left.
The chapel is heated and has toilets but for extra comfort please bring your own refreshments and a cushion (wooden pews).
Book on eventbright or just turn up on the night! A limited number of tickets will be available on the door, first come, first served.
